A Texas Ex, Brown has been an assistant coach for the last five seasons.
Blair Brown has been named head coach for Texas Cheer and Pom, Texas Athletics announced on Monday. Brown has served as an assistant coach of Cheer and Pom since 2013.
A native of Conroe, Texas, Brown graduated from The University of Texas with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance in 2013. She was a member of Texas Pom from 2010-13, serving as a co-captain during the 2011-12 year and a captain for the 2012-13 squad.
"I am so excited to announce Blair Brown as the next head coach of Texas Cheer and Pom," Associate Athletics Director Rebecca Haden said.
