Texas played one fewer game than the teams in the middle of the Big 12 conference, hurting Texas’ chances of a better seed in the postseason tournament.
But, their last win of the regular season on Sunday advanced the Horns from the seventh to sixth spot in the final conference standings.

Because Texas only played Oklahoma State twice due to a weather situation, the Longhorns were unable to get the 3, 4, or 5 spot.
