Former Dallas Cowboys head coach Jimmy Johnson was seemingly a voice in recently hired Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Urban Meyer’s ear when he was weighing whether or not to take the head coaching position with the Texas Longhorns, according to 247Sports.
“We just talked about the strains of recruiting, one thing another, and we actually compared it to going into professional football as well,” Johnson said, per 247Sports. “I didn’t actually give him my feeling about what he should do. I just talked to him about the pros and cons of both positions.
