After the Texas Longhorns dropped a close one in four overtime periods to the Oklahoma Sooners, most of the Longhorn football team opted out singing “The Eyes of Texas.”
That was expected after university administrators provided players with the option of not singing the controversial school alma mater. Players, it seems, took them up on the offer.
