Texas softball senior shortstop Kaitlyn Slack will not return to the Texas Longhorns next year, Slack announced via her Instagram page this week, despite the NCAA possibly opting to provide an extra season of eligibility to spring athletes whose campaigns were cut short due to the coronavirus outbreak. Slack is currently one of six seniors on Texas’ roster.
