On Wednesday, Texas Longhorns school officials released a letter that stated they “hope to reopen the campus” come fall 2020, the Austin American-Statesman reports. A final decision has yet to be made and reportedly likely won’t come until June at the earliest.
“Now, as we near the final weeks of spring semester, the university is looking to the future and evaluating options for how we will teach, research, learn and operate during the fall,” the letter said, per the Statesman’s report. “We expect to announce the university’s plans for the fall semester by the end of June.
