If a lot of things go wrong, the Texas Longhorns may still be able to compete for a Big 12 Conference title, the Dallas Morning News reports.
From the Morning News: “Big 12 by-laws state in the event a team is unable to participate in the championship game, a replacement will be selected by moving down the regular-season standings in order of place finish. So, if the Sooners or Cyclones cannot go, presumably because of COVID-19 concerns, the Big 12 says Texas would be next ahead of Oklahoma State even though the Cowboys are 6-3 and UT is 5-3.
