But while the college sports world as we know it continues to swirl with uncertainty, the Longhorns basketball momentum is carrying into the 2020-2021 season, it seems, as two more way-too-early top 25 polls have included Texas among their preseason rankings.
The Athletic has Texas ranked No. 18. NCAA.com has the Longhorns at No. 22 overall.
Not bad, if Smart’s crew can live up to the hype.
