Texas Longhorns head coach Tom Herman is on the hot seat.
The hottest seat, in fact, after Texas lost to the Iowa State Cyclones last weekend.
Even so, Herman claims him and Texas athletics director Chris Del Conte have had productive talks concerning his future on the Forty Acres, according to 247Sports.
“Chris and I have spoken a couple of different times over the weekend,” Herman said, per 247Sports report. “Very productive conversations. I think he’s right along with me in that we’ve got a job to do to prepare our kids to go win a game in Manhattan, Kansas.
