The Associated Press has named Texas Longhorns junior defensive end Joseph Ossai to the 2020 All-America team. The Austin American-Statesman first reported the news today.
Makes sense after a stellar season for Ossai, who’s now the 145th player in university history to earn All-America honors. He’s also the first Longhorn to receive the honor since 2017.
Ossai will now prepare for the NFL Draft after announcing his intention to opt out of the Longhorns’ postseason Alamo Bowl game against the Colorado Buffaloes on Tuesday.
