Incoming Big 12 commissioner Brett Yormark starts the gig on August 1.
But let’s be real, he’s already knee-deep into the job as conference realignment heats up.
And with realignment, Yormark has an opportunity to boost the Big 12’s value.
Of course, the Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma Sooners won’t be around to see it. But if Yormark plays his cards right, and the Big Ten opts to not further expand at this time, landing programs like the Oregon Ducks and the Arizona/Phoenix markets would be wins.
Or, realignment could go terribly wrong, as this Reddit sleuth demonstrates.
