If the ACC or SEC conferences decide to postpone their fall football season, the Big 12 might be in trouble, Big 12 commissioner Bob Bowlsby recently told 247Sports.
“As we go forward, (the ACC, SEC and Big 12) now are finding ourselves working together more frequently. We talk at least a couple times a week, usually more often than that,” Bowlsby said. “If the SEC decided that they had an outbreak or that they had a couple of states that were really not in good shape and they weren’t going to be able to go forward and decided that they were going to shut it down, it certainly would have an impact on us, just as if we had those sorts of outbreaks and shut it down, it would have an impact on the ACC and the SEC.
