It seems the Big 12 is keeping their word by aiming for a 12-game regular season.
From the Morning News: “The conference’s board of directors is unlikely to make a decision on a football scheduling model during a teleconference next Monday, two sources familiar with the discussions said. While Big 12 athletic directors held a virtual meeting Tuesday, no consensus has emerged for a Plan B because of COVID-19 beyond a 12-game regular season — still the preferred option for the conference. The two top proposals beyond a 12-game schedule include nine-game conference-only schedule and a plus-one that would add a nonconference game.
