ESPN draft analyst Todd McShay and Mel Kiper Jr. think former Texas Longhorns offensive lineman Sam Cosmi, who opted out prior to the end of his junior season in 2020, should have remained at the collegiate level for at least one more season, 247Sports reports.
“Sam Cosmi, the offensive tackle from Texas, I think he needs to return to school,” McShay said on ESPN’s First Draft podcast, per 247Sports. “I don’t think he had the season that everyone is kind of projecting on mock drafts and rankings, that has led him to believe he’s going to be a first-round pick.
