Bevo Blvd., the action-filled street party prior to Texas Football home games, makes its debut at Texas Basketball as part of the Longhorns' doubleheader Sunday, Dec. 9. No. 10 Texas Women's Basketball takes on No. 11 Tennessee at noon, followed by No. 17 Texas Men's Basketball vs. No. 18 Purdue at 5 p.m. Named after Texas' iconic mascot, Bevo Blvd. opens at 10:30 a.m. on the north plaza of the Frank Erwin Center with Texas-sized fun for Longhorns fans of all ages.
"Bevo Blvd. was a resounding success with Texas fans this Football season, and our goal is to capture some of that excitement for Men's and Women's Basketball season," said Executive Senior Associate Athletics Director for External Affairs Drew Martin.
