AUSTIN, Texas — Texas Longhorns junior standouts Max Belyeu and Rylan Galvan earned spots on the preseason All-Southeastern Conference baseball teams, the league office announced Wednesday morning.
Belyeu received first-team distinction, while Galvan collected second-team plaudits, as voted by the conference's 16 head coaches.
A year ago, Belyeu emerged as one of the premier hitting in the country.
The 2024 Big 12 Player of the Year posted a .329 batting average with 18 home runs and 53 RBI.
Belyeu paced the Longhorns in slugging (.423) and OPS (1.090), while tying for the club lead in homers.
