Baylor junior guard Alexis Jones was named the Big 12's newcomer of the year in voting by conference coaches.
Oklahoma State senior guard Brittney Martin was named player of the year with the Cowgirls' Jim Littell picking up coach of the year honors.
In her first season at Baylor after transferring from Duke, Jones led the team in scoring in Big 12 games with 14.4 points a game to rank seventh in the conference.
The ex-Irving MacArthur standout averaged 19.5 points against ranked teams.
