AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Baseball right-handed pitcher Blair Henley and shortstop David Hamilton were selected on the second day of the Major League Baseball Draft on Tuesday. Henley was selected by the Houston Astros in the seventh round (226th pick) and Hamilton was picked by the Milwaukee Brewers in the eighth round (253rd pick).
A three-year starting pitcher for the Longhorns, Henley made 39 career starts and logged 222 innings pitched in his career. He recorded a 3.65 ERA and 173 career strikeouts.
