AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Baseball had two players selected on day two of the 2023 Major League Baseball Draft on Monday, with outfielder Dylan Campbell picked in the fourth round by the Los Angeles Dodgers and LHP Lucas Gordon taken in the sixth round to the Chicago White Sox.
Campbell, who was selected with the 136th overall pick by the Dodgers, batted .339 and led the Longhorns with 65 runs scored and 26 stolen bases. He finished with 19 doubles, 13 homers, 50 RBI and had a Texas and Big 12 record 38 game hitting streak.
