AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Baseball hammered San José State, 18-6, to clinch the series with a run-rule win on Saturday at UFCU Disch-Falk Field.
The Longhorns (35-18, 12-9) will turn their attention back to Big 12 play next weekend when they close out the regular season against West Virginia at UFCU Disch-Falk Field.
Tanner Witt pitched three innings and allowed three runs on two hits to pick up the win in a designated start. He struck out two batters and allowed one walk for his first win of the year.
Travis Sthele picked up the save, with four innings of relief to finish off the ballgame.
