AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Baseball picked up a 7-2 win over North Dakota State, behind 5.1 scoreless innings of relief by Charlie Hurley on Tuesday night at UFCU Disch-Falk Field.
The Longhorns (10-7) will square off with the Bison again on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
Hurley came into the game with two outs in the third and Texas trailing 2-1. He finished the third inning then held North Dakota State without a base runner until the seventh inning. In the eighth, he had to get out of a bases-loaded jam but did so with a strikeout and a groundout.
