AUSTIN, Texas – Texas baseball blasted four home runs and beat Baylor, 11-1, in eight innings to win the series on Sunday at UFCU Disch-Falk Field.
The Longhorns (15-9, 4-2) were led by a pair of Max's as Max Belyeu hit three home runs and Max Grubbs tossed seven one-run innings on the mound.
Belyeu became the eighth Longhorn to hit three homers in a game, tying the Texas Baseball record. He finished 3-for-4 with six RBI and hit bombs in the first, fourth and eighth innings.
Grubbs put together another strong outing, pitching seven innings and allowing just one run on five hits.
