AUSTIN, Texas—Texas Baseball rode an early lead to a 5-3 win over No. 16 Oklahoma on Friday night at UFCU Disch-Falk Field. The win moves the Longhorns to 21-12 overall and 5-5 in the Big 12, while the Sooners fall to 26-7 and 4-3 in conference play.
In the home half of the first inning, the Longhorns took advantage of a Sooner miscue to get on the board. With one away, Tate Shaw singled up the middle and one batter later, Travis Jones was hit with a pitch. Kacy Clemens then followed with a fielder's choice that OU pitcher Dylan Grove threw away.
