AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Baseball dropped a midweek game to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, 4-1, on Tuesday at UFCU Disch-Falk Field.
The Longhorns (15-10, 4-3) will look to bounce back this weekend as they head to Manhattan, Kan. to face No. 23 Kansas State starting on Thursday at 6 p.m.
Jared Thomas and Porter Brown each had two hits in the game and Thomas scored the Longhorns' only run. Peyton Powell finished 1-for-3 and drove in the only run with a sacrifice fly.
The Islanders took an early 3-0 lead, hitting a three-run homer off of starter Cole Selvig in the second inning.
