FULLERTON, Calif. – Texas Baseball evened the series with Cal State Fullerton with a 4-2 win on Saturday at Goodwin Field.
The Longhorns (4-6) will go for the series win on Sunday at 12 p.m. CT with RHP Travis Sthele slated to make the start on the mound.
Zane Morehouse started on Saturday and pitched five innings, allowing just one run on four hits. He struck out five batters and picked up his second win of the season, improving to 2-0.
Charlie Hurley was stellar out of the bullpen, pitching the final four innings and allowing just one run on four hits to pick up his first career save.
