LAWRENCE, Kan. – Texas Baseball held a 3-2 lead before Kansas put together a five-run bottom of the fifth and defeated the Longhorns 10-4 on Friday at Hoglund Ballpark.
The Longhorns (30-17, 10-9) will look to even the series up on Saturday at 2 p.m.
Garret Guillemette went 2-for-4 with a double, a homer and two RBI, while Jared Thomas finished 2-for-4 with two runs scored.
Lucas Gordon started and was charged with his first loss of the season, going 4.2 innings and giving up five earned runs on nine hits.
