FULLERTON, Calif. – Texas Baseball dropped the series finale to Cal State Fullerton, 5-4, in 11 innings on Sunday at Goodwin Field
The Longhorns (4-7) scored two runs in the ninth to send the game into extra-innings before eventually falling in the 11th inning.
Cal State Fullerton took an early 3-0 lead, scoring in the bottom of the first inning on three walks and two singles off of Travis Sthele.
Sthele went on to pitch 4.2 innings and allowed just the three runs on four hits and struck out five.
