AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Baseball pounded out 11 runs on 15 hits and defeated Mercer 11-3 on Wednesday at UFCU Disch-Falk Field.
The Longhorns (6-7) held the lead the entire game, with runs scored in each of the first four innings.
Rylan Galvan had his first career hit, a two-run home run, and ended up going 3-for-4 with four RBIs. Dylan Campbell also went 3-for-4 and had one RBI and two runs scored.
Ace Whitehead made his first career start on the mound and picked up his first career win, pitching 2.
