AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Baseball weathered a one-hour delay and pounded out a season-high 18 hits and ten doubles to roll to an 18-3 win over Texas Southern on Tuesday at UFCU Disch-Falk Field.
The Longhorns (28-15, 8-7) will turn their attention back to Big 12 Conference play, to take on TCU in a three-game series beginning Friday at 6 p.m. at Lupton Stadium.
DJ Burke had the designated start and pitched two full innings with two strikeouts and one hit allowed, earning his first career win.
Dylan Campbell extended his hitting streak to 20 straight games with a hit and went 2-for-2.
