Texas Longhorns starting B-Backer Malcolm Roach has missed the past five games after suffering a fractured foot during Texas’ Sept. 15 win over USC, but the junior’s extended hiatus may soon be coming to an end. On Monday, during his weekly press conference, Texas head coach Tom Herman detailed Roach’s progress as part of a multiple-player injury update, and the news to that end was positive.
“We’re going to see how today and tomorrow go and might be able to do to a little something at practice this week,” Herman said of Roach. “He has progressed to the point of everything except football drills on that foot.
