The Longhorns continued their Australian exhibition tour early Wednesday morning against the National Basketball League's Melbourne United in Nunawading, Australia.

Although Texas dropped the contest, 85–75, prized freshman Mohamed Bamba showed off the skills that helped him become the No. 2 center recruit in the class of 2017.

Bamba contributed a team-high 18 points while using his 7-8 wingspan to erase five shots. The outing was an encouraging sign for a Longhorn team that desperately needed a boost in talent after finishing last in the Big 12 last season.
