Aggies see contributions almost triple in 2015; Longhorns finish second in revenue in NCAA

USA Today recently released their annual study on college finances and two Texas schools topped the list: Texas A&M and Texas.

The Aggies rose to the top of the list due to a huge increase in their annual contributions. The contribution amount in 2014 for A&M was about $36 million, but that ballooned to $92 million in 2015. Total revenue for the Aggies rose from $119 million to $192 million.

Texas A&M made a total profit of more than $80 million in 2015, which was also the largest last year.

Texas, which led the list last season, still saw a substantial increase in total revenue, led by a $10 million increase in ticket sales.
