Texas opens the Dallas Regional against Oregon State. The Beavers finished the regular season 38-16-1 and 19-10-1 in Pac-12 play.
Oregon State is no pushover. They can play some baseball in the Pacific Northwest. As a matter of fact, there are some that think Oregon State should have been a regional host.
This didn’t escape the attention of head coach Pat Casey.
“There were some teams that were left out that should be in, and there are some teams that are in that shouldn’t be in,” said head coach Pat Casey, whose team learned Sunday it wasn’t included among the 16 regional hosts.
