AUSTIN -- Fans got a first look at the 2019 version of the Texas Longhorns on Saturday night with the annual Orange-White spring game. The White squad defeated the Orange squad, 12-6.
Here are five takeaways from Saturday's game:
1. Sluggish day for Sam Ehlinger, first-team offense
This was not exactly an impressive day for junior quarterback Sam Ehlinger and the Longhorns' first-team offense.
Ehlinger threw a few errant passes, most notably a bad decision in the first half that resulted in senior linebacker Jeffrey McCulloch picking him off and nearly returning it for a touchdown.
