AUSTIN -- Amid all the frenzy over what Tom Herman and the Longhorns' football team has done in the past few weeks, Texas men's basketball coach Shaka Smart spoke with the media on Monday to preview the start of practice this week.
Basketball season is on the horizon, with Texas' season opener set for Nov. 6 against Eastern Illinois at the Frank Erwin Center.
