After several tentative commitment dates over the last year or so, Cuero wide receiver Jordan Whittington plans on ending his recruitment on March 10, according to a tweet sent on Wednesday.
A decision has been in the works for some time and the Texas Longhorns are still strongly in contention after hosting the consensus five-star prospect for the Oklahoma basketball game in early February.
Whittington previously visited Texas A&M for a Junior Day in late January and then took a subsequent visit to UCLA.
Those are the three programs considered to have the most credible shot of landing the 6’1, 198-pounder.
