Here are five key issues for the Texas Longhorns heading into fall camp:
1. Continuing to develop the defense
Even after the spring, Texas' defense, which has to replace eight starters from 2018, remains a work in progress. Most of the voids seem like simple patches with all of Texas' up and coming talent, but one key position battle that still has to play out is at defensive tackle between senior Gerald Wilbon and redshirt freshman Keondre Coburn. Defensive coordinator Todd Orlando indicated during the spring that the two were pretty much even, so solidifying a starter during fall camp will still be a critical.
