5 Biggest Areas Texas Has To Improve Next Season

Texas finished this year 11-22 overall and 4-14 in the Big 12 conference. Their only win away from Austin was in the first round of the Big 12 tournament when they upset Texas Tech.

But, the Horns could not duplicate that against West Virginia when their season-long struggles came together in one ugly, frustrating game.

Before the season even ended, head coach Shaka Smart acknowledged that a “lot of reflection” needs to happen in the off-season.

Texas also needs to finish strong in recruiting. The Horns already have ESPN Top 75 recruits Matt Coleman, Jericho Sims, and Royce Hamm joining the team next year.
