Pompano Beach (Fla.) Monarch three-star wide receiver Jaden Alexis officially signed his National Letter of Intent to the Texas Longhorns on Wednesday morning.
Alexis is one of five out-of-state commits in this year’s class and is also the lone signee from the Sunshine State. He’s just the fourth prospect from the state of Florida to pledge to Texas under Tom Herman. Jordan Pouncey, Marcus Tillman Jr. and IMG Academy’s own Ayodele Adeoye were the others. Pouncey eventually transferred out of the program.
During the recruiting process, Alexis landed nearly 40 scholarship offers, a sign of how highly programs around the country think of the 5’11, 185-pounder.
