The Texas Longhorns are now a key step closer to potentially landing one of the nation’s most dynamic receiver prospects, as Spearman product Brenan Thompson named Steve Sarkisian’s program in his top three on Friday.
Joining Texas in the running down the stretch are Oklahoma State and Texas A&M.
After previously surviving the cut in late June, Alabama, Clemson, and Oregon were left out of the mix this time around.
The four-star talent has long been a key target for the Longhorns, and he unofficially visited Austin in June for a big Texas recruiting event.
