4-star WDE Braedon Mowry commits to Texas A&M

Katy Taylor continues to send recruits to College Station, as weak-side defensive end Braedon Mowry announced on Saturday that he’ll join former teammate Max Wright in Aggieland after committing to the Texas A&M Aggies:

The 6’4, 235-pounder was considered a heavy Texas A&M lean. Texas offered, but was never heavily in the mix for Mowry. And considering that Oklahoma was also in the mix, Mowry heading to the SEC is a much better result for Texas than having to see him in the Cotton Bowl in the future.

Right now, Nolan Catholic product NaNa Osafo-Mensah is the key Longhorns target at the weak-side defensive end position, while JUCO product Jermaine Johnson could also be in the mix.
