After watching him impress at the Peach Jam, the Texas Longhorns have finally put an offer on the table for rising Missouri City Elkins shooting guard Donovan Williams.

With Texas jumping into the mix, the Longhorns join programs such as Oklahoma, Kansas State, Miami, SMU, and Arizona State in pursuit of his services, among others.
The Longhorns have been in contact with Williams for some time now, and he actually has a tie to the program, as he has long trained with Houston-area icon John Lucas, who is the father of Texas assistant coach Jai Lucas.
