The Texas Longhorns are now on the outside looking in with one of the top 200 prospects in the nation.
On Friday, Broken Arrow (Okla.) safety Myles Slusher announced his top 10 list and Texas wasn’t among the teams the nation’s No. 14 safety mentioned as options going forward. Instead, Slusher will continue to evaluate Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia Tech, Michigan, LSU, Missouri, Oregon, Texas A&M, TCU, and Oklahoma State.
A four-star prospect ranked No. 195 nationally, Slusher visited the Forty Acres several weeks ago for the Longhorns’ Junior Day, but there never seemed to be too much traction between the two sides.
