On Tuesday evening, the Texas Longhorns extended an offer to a 2020 prospect that has been a certified ballplayer since he arrived on the recruiting scene as a sophomore going into his junior year.
Lufkin safety Jerrin Thompson earned an opportunity to be a part of the #cloUT2020 movement when he garnered an offer from the Texas staff. He took to Twitter to announce his latest offer.
The four-star headhunter will most likely have to reevaluate his recruitment after becoming a Texas target now. Thompson has picked up 17 total offers thus far, but he recently released his top five programs in May and that list included Arkansas, LSU, Oklahoma State, Notre Dame, and TCU.
