Four-star Beaumont West Brook safety Bryce Anderson announced that he has narrowed his list of schools down to five on Saturday.
Anderson was previously committed to LSU, but opted to reopen his recruitment last month after the Tigers struggled during the season.
Steve Sarkisian’s staff has prioritized Anderson since arriving in Austin, so it was no surprise that the Texas Longhorns made the cut for his commitment.
The Longhorns are reportedly carrying a considerable amount of momentum in this recruitment despite LSU and Texas A&M both making the list of finalists for Anderson.
