Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy running back Noah Cain has trimmed his lengthy list of options to just six finalists and as expected, the Texas Longhorns are still firmly in the mix.
Oklahoma, LSU, Penn State, Ohio State, and Auburn were also named as the schools Cain will continue to consider going forward.
Clemson, Florida State, Georgia, Miami, Michigan, and Texas A&M were among the programs pursuing Cain, but now find themselves on the outside looking in for the former Denton Guyer star.
Of the programs still standing, Texas appears to be in the driver’s seat, but not comfortably.
