4-star in-state PF Drew Timme excludes Texas from top 10

The Texas Longhorns have missed the cut for the top-ranked power forward prospect in the state.

On Thursday, Richardson Pearce product Drew Timme announced his top 10, and Shaka Smart’s program was one of 19 left on the outside looking in.

As seen in Timme’s edit, he’ll continue to consider Texas Tech, Texas A&M, Gonzaga, Purdue, Louisville, Arizona, Illinois, Alabama, Michigan State, and Oklahoma.

The rising four-star forward added his Texas offer on May 10 and toured the Forty Acres the following month on June 28, but of course, the Longhorns didn’t garner enough interest to survive Timme’s initial cut.
