The Texas Longhorns continue to cash in on the momentum created from the flurry of June visits as four-star edge rusher Derrick Brown made his pledge to the Longhorns on Saturday.
The 6’3, 210-pound pass rusher out of Texarkana Texas High narrowed his list down to two ahead of his commitment, picking between the Longhorns and the Baylor Bears — the only two programs he visited in June. At the time of his commitment, Brown holds 28 total offers and still has an official visit to the Oklahoma Sooners planned for the fall, but decided to shut things down during the summer.
