The Texas Longhorns are now one step closer to potentially pairing redshirt sophomore Jordan Pouncey will his brother in Austin.
On Saturday evening, Pouncey’s younger brother, Ethan, a four-star cornerback prospect, announced his top five teams, as Texas remains alive and well with the Winter Park (Fla.) product. Alabama, Auburn, LSU, and Florida also remain in the mix.
Clemson, Florida State, Georgia, Michigan, Maimi, Penn State, and Stanford are among the programs that didn’t survive the cut.
Pouncey has only held a Longhorns offer for a little more than a week, as Texas officially put an offer on the table on June 7, but he’s been on the staff’s radar for some time and previously visited the Forty Acres in late March.
