Shaka Smart and the Texas Longhorns are in pursuit of another elite point guard prospect.
On Monday, Texas put an offer on the table for four-star Saint Louis (Mo.) Christian Brothers College floor general Caleb Love, he announced on Twitter.
With Texas jumping into the mix, Love is now up to 18 offers, with invitations stemming from Indiana, Kansas State, Xavier, Butler, Florida Marquette, and Oklahoma State, and others. Love recently visited Missouri and Northwestern as well.
A tenacious two-way guard, Love averaged 18 points per game last season as a sophomore. He now becomes just the fourth 2020 point guard to pick up a Texas offer.
